Mindset Minute ⏱️ (00:02:49) – Note to self: first iteration of program so I wanna learn from you

Pre-Submitted Questions:

Rebecca Van De Water ⏱️ (00:15:15) –

  • Hi Sylvie!  I am working out the big picture for a moment:  Business name, DBAs, etc…  can we chat about names and the planning for the big picture trajectory for a sec?
  • Hi Sylvie!  I have had a number of meetings with Hannah- all super helpful- and I am realizing that despite these meetings I am just making things too hard.  I am frustrated with my very slow pace, feeling stuck a lot of the time (even when Hannah helps me get unstuck!).  Can we chat about this?

Valerie Lynn Polley ⏱️ (00:37:36) –

  • It is about FB live. I believe we have to do the FB lives from our personal FB page. I feel like most of the people (friends/family) on my personal page aren’t going to listen, but those on my business page are more likely to jump on live. After the live, I put it on my business and course FB page, but this feels counterproductive because no one can get on live.

Kristin Renner ⏱️ (00:44:27) –

  • As an ND I am very accustomed to treating patients in a personalized, individual way. When targeting a larger group how do you suggest designing a program that isn’t too vague or broad but also isn’t too detailed/nuanced either?

Shelley Latendresse OT ⏱️ (00:48:58) –

  • Working on my email template and liking the premise of the I’m sorry template (i.e. Here’s how I’ve changed the lives of clients and how I can help you), but is there another phrase we could use instead of ” I’m sorry ” for clients who might not go for the nuance?
  • When naming my Course and FB group, do you recommend the same name? Would you recommend we keep it concrete like “Post concussion Recovery group” over something more creative like “Retrain the brian” etc.?

Live Questions:

Shelley Latendresse ⏱️ (41:36)

  • Sometimes posting from Facebook page doesn’t send out notifications comparing to doing something via personal profile, is that true?

Mindset Minute ⏱️ (00:03:48) – Resourcefulness

Pre-Submitted Questions:

Eric Fete ⏱️ (00:22:55) –

  • For the first 50 spreadsheet do we get url for blogs and other sites that discuss the phrases we are looking for?  Then we want to reach out to these blog owners to ask about doing a podcast or guest blog? How exactly do we reach out and what specifically are we asking of them?

Hannah ⏱️ (00:28:27) –

  • Can you share with us what your experiences were like with affiliation building? What types of affiliation have you done?

Kristen O’Dell ⏱️ (00:34:25) –

  • Not really a question- but could use a little pick me up- I am struggling with using PAS on my potential clients. I get that selling is serving but agitating pregnant women and maybe women struggling to get pregnant or had a bad pregnancy/delivery seems wrong to me and my PAS’ are weak because of it. Calling attention to what worries them and maybe making them more worried feels bad to me. Is PAS a must? What other selling tactics can I focus on if I can’t get past this?

Live Questions:

Shelley ⏱️ (00:52:15) –

  • I do have a big question on the spearheading emailing: Do you send the program to other health care providers who might refer clients to me?? A lot of my contacts and followers are providers.

Pre-Submitted Questions:

Rebecca Van De Water ⏱️ (6:10) –

  • Hi Sylvie!  I am wondering- when is it appropriate for me to design and offer a free webinar (or similar) as outreach/marketing via facebook?

Valerie Lynn Polley⏱️ (22:24) –

  • In the contract I am working on it lists one-on-one calls as one of the options.  How important is this? Is this something I should be doing?

Krista Chernoff ⏱️ (24:05) –

  • I am working on my first 50 google search terms and URLs. Are we wanting to focus more on URLs that are blogs vs company websites? Or the first ones that pop up? Will we eventually be reaching out to these people as affiliates and should carefully research who we write down? Also, should we only stick to one website for each google search term?

Live Questions:

Krista Chernoff ⏱️ (33:00) –

  • Do you suggest at this point creating emails to send out to people? Or not yet?

Rebecca Van De Water ⏱️ (41:00) –

  • I’m struggling with the day I’m to do my Q&A call. I had a day picked, and a new client says she can only do Tuesday, what should I do?

New contents in the works for YOU! (00:03:19)

Mindset Minute ⏱️ (00:05:59) – How Perfectionism Is Costing YOU…

Pre-Submitted Questions:

Kristen O’Dell ⏱️ (00:15:54) –

  • I am working on the First 50. When filling out my prep doc, and entering my search terms that my target audience is searching. Should I choose items they may be researching that are higher end since I’m selling a 2K course? For example, instead of searching for “the best stroller” should I be specific with high end names/brands? or is it better to keep it more broad?

Howard Hong ⏱️ (00:21:58) –

  • I went through the videos in Module 6 about legal content. What is your opinion on getting liability insurance for my health coaching business? I called a company and they recommended that I get business liability insurance and quoted me $833 per year. This would include coverage of my individual liability to practice as an RN at another job. Thanks!

Krista Chernoff ⏱️ (00:29:35) –

  • Do I need to look into some type of coach insurance before I have even gotten a client? I have seen people posting about this and have not looked into it.
  • I’m feeling overwhelmed with marketing and spending so much time on figuring out mailchimp, lead magnet, automatic emails, social media posts, etc. I’m not at the point obviously where I can hire this out. I  feel like it’s necessary for getting clients, but also feel like it’s taking away from me working on the actual course (which I need to do) because I have limited time available. Any recommendations on dealing with this?

Eric Fete ⏱️ (00:42:41) –

  • FB Group management/setup: need more clarity on the 2 FB pages/groups.  I have my public one set up; need to understand the private one; should it look the same (image/graphic/verbiage etc.) as the public?  What needs to be different?  How do we post and market to them and which one do we send interested parties to etc.?  Need more explanation
  • FB group clarification: So the one group I set up (visible and private) has 67 people in it.  The other one that was supposed to be public and visible has just me; should I switch them then?

Live Questions:

Kristen O’Dell ⏱️ (00:50:51) –

  • Can we do a deep dive into creating our individual PAS’s in a future call or video? I’m struggling with these and would love to have 10 done before I do a live campaign so I know what I want to talk about. I’m realizing how important they are for our marketing and I need to spend more time on them.
  • Also- I feel so weird marketing and “selling” myself without a website. I know this is me chasing shiny things BUT. So many people ask and podcast applications ask for a website. Any thoughts or comments on this?  I def think it’s holding me back from really shouting about this from the rooftops!

*Steps of getting started with a website (00:52:51) –

  1. Buying a domain name
  2. Start free if you can
  3. Find a host site (start with the cheapest option if you can)
  4. Keep it simple: one-pager, or with information such as “about you,” link to FB group, and link to Calendly
  5. Keep the fonts and colors simple and minimal

Mindset Minute ⏱️ (02:43) – Resourcefulness

Pre-Submitted Questions:

Kristen O’Dell ⏱️ (20:29) –

    • I’m working on PAS. I also sent out my first email campaign telling people about my new program. As I understand it- PAS is the framework and subject matter for our FB lives. Should I also be using it for my emails? With or without video? Thank you!
    • When I am on a sales call I understand that my goal is to have them say YES they want to buy right there on the call- like give me your credit card and DONE. BUT…. what about the contract? Doesn’t that have to go to them first to read and so technically they don’t really buy that day on the call- it may take them a few days to read the contract and then pull the paying trigger? I have set up everything but I  feel not ready to accept a sale! And I don’t want that mindset to talk me OUT of a sale I haven’t even had yet!

Live Questions:

Becca Van De Water⏱️ (33:02) –

    • I have set up stripe and PayPal to take payments ( I will use thrive cart once I’ve made money). But neither is allowing me to have a virtual terminal for taking credit card in the moment.  Why- I can’t figure out.  Should I try square?  Or send an invoice to the client?
    • Can we talk about how Calendly and syncing this with my paper calendar system.

Krista Chernoff⏱️ (44:26) –

    • I feel like more people may be willing to pay $2000 for a program if you divide into multiple smaller payments (more than 2)…what are your thoughts on this?

Kristen O’Dell⏱️ (47:06) –

    • I have had a few calls of women who are TRYING to get pregnant and at the end of the call they are IN and want to join the program- when they are pregnant. I feel weird asking for a sale at the end of that call… any advice about this besides following up with them monthly (which is what I’m doing- putting their name on my calendar to check back in once they give me permission to do so)
    • Also, any advice on if I have a paid client lose their baby… I’m assuming offer a refund? Or defer the program until their next pregnancy? Is this a lawyer question?

Live Questions:

  • Valerie Polley ⏱️ (28:46) –

Should everyone be doing a sales page or is this just for the introvert seller?

  • Becca Van De Water ⏱️ (29:23) –

if we have a “buy” button on our sales page, what about vetting the person to be sure it’s a good fit?

  • Kristen O’Dell ⏱️ (1:05:45) –

Should I do PRE sales for people THINKING about it trying to get pregnant so they can buy at a lower price point? Then have them start the program later after pregnant?

  • Mindset Minute: ⏱️  (05:43) How to create a lead magnet to build your email list

Pre-Submitted Questions:

  • Kira Kayler ⏱️ (28:46) –
  1. Where do we post our mission statements?  What do we put on our existing websites and FB sites?  I don’t have an email list, how do you develop one?
  2. What is the purpose of the laser call?  What are appropriate questions?
  • Michelle Provitola ⏱️ (31:32) –
  1. Is there a specific program you recommend for Taxes and financial planning? I have to stay organized from the get-go..
  2. Is there a way we can do FB LIVES and have the text copy itself so we are not typing the transcript out?
  • Valerie Lynn Polley ⏱️ (47:08) –
  1. I had a phone call with your attorney today. She said the best way to keep my business separate from the course is to have a separate website (from my business). Do you think this is a good idea or too much to do right now? She said it can be very simple, but I know that is another added expense.
  2. I have trouble deciding on support for my program. I have it narrowed down to a private FB page, live group Q&A and help tickets. I am leaning towards the live group Q&A and help tickets. I have a private FB page for my business and I do nothing with it, so I am concerned about having one. Is live Q&A with help tickets enough help?
  • Krista Chernoff ⏱️ (54:10) –

What are your thoughts on tailoring a few modules of the course to special populations of clients? My course is to help women reduce fatigue, PMS, and period problems. I had my first 2 sales calls and the women had completely different issues and likely have different nutrition needs. I have a feeling that this trend will continue as I talk to more women. So, if I made specialized modules for populations of women, it would be like if someone has already been diagnosed with PCOS, they would be sent different nutrition modules than someone with regular cycles with painful periods.

  • Jessica Stevenson & Laura Boyer ⏱️ (59:07) –
  1. We’re having difficulty narrowing down the support for our program. We feel this age group needs a little more handholding and guiding, as do their parents. Considering our population (teens & young adults), how can we provide them a personalized experience without overwhelming ourselves…and them?  Can you give us recommendations?
  2. Also, do we need to worry about liability?
  • Rebecca Van De Water ⏱️ (1:13:37) –

I would like to talk about pricing of my 12-week program.  I’ve come back to this question for myself many times.  I currently have it priced at $4500 for 12 weeks.  I feel confident in this price.  AND- I am realizing that my sense of integrity is challenging this.  Not everyone can afford this, and I want to help a diverse group of women.  I can’t stay in my integrity and ask people to go into debt to afford my program.  So the question is:  Can we brainstorm how to find a balance between making the program accessible to many people AND me earning a living wage?

Live Question:

  • Krista Chernoff ⏱️ (1:31:58) –

I’ve read that courses sell better with a price ending in 7….what are your thoughts on changing the price to this?

  • Mindset Minute: ⏱️  (09:08) How to not Burnout during the building process

Pre-Submitted Questions:

  • Michelle Provitola ⏱️ (30:03) –
  1. I have started sharing my Mission statement and I have had a whopping awesome response. The statement is: I help Healthcare Professionals conquer burnout so that they will feel enabled, inspired & empowered. My next step is to explore what “Burnout” means? Do I get input from colleagues, friends, SM? Or do I explore the positive side of this equation such as feeling “enabled, inspired & empowered?
  2. I am missing the comrades in the field of nursing BUT I have a great product I am building so I want to stay laser-focused and not return to the bedside. Do you know anyone else that has ventured out to use CREATIVITY to help other Healthcare Professionals feel more inspired, enabled, and empowered? Feeling alone.
  3. What are the best ways to pull in and include helpers that are reliable at the beginning as volunteers? Ex: Moderators for FB and Email tickets submissions or a moderator to collect questions for a live call?
  • Rebecca Van De Water ⏱️ (49:40) –

Hey Sylvie! I am working on my 50 Reasons Why. I’ve got about 30, and am just totally stuck. Can we brainstorm a bit?

  • Krista Chernoff ⏱️ (1:00:06) –
  1. In regard to FB lives: if I have a more diverse following on Instagram than FB (right now, most of my FB followers and group are family and friends, who I feel like will not purchase my course), would you recommend doing Instagram lives also? Or doing an Instagram live, then posting that recording on my FB page and group?
  2. In regard to social media, do you recommend posting often to my business FB and Instagram accounts? There’s a lot of pressure to post consistently if you want to market and sell your product, and I find it draining and hate being on social media a lot. I have gone through spurts of posting more and it hasn’t resulted in sales (although I have never done it consistently for a long time).  Is this a necessary thing to push through, or do you find a better outcome (people actually booking sales calls) by doing FB lives and then posting to promote it occasionally?
  • Shakira Thomas Navies ⏱️ (1:10:43) –

When people reach out via social media regarding interest in my business, do I always offer them to book a call with me (call and convert) or give them the details in a private message?

  • Mindset Minute: ⏱️  (04:08) Confidence

Pre-Submitted Questions:

  • Rebecca Van De Water ⏱️ (25:43) –

Hi Sylvie!  I am starting to feel like an imposter.  I have designed a 12-week course to help women reclaim their energy so that they can live a life of purpose, passion, and power.  Aaaand…  I myself am still a work in progress.  I know this subject from the inside out as a chronically tired person.  And I know what is working for me (and many others).  But I’m not yet the picture of a woman with plenty of energy.  How do I proceed confidently?  And there’s a second piece to this- when I describe how long I’ve been helping women with this….  what do I say?  I’ve been in clinical practice for 15+ years, and have worked with hundreds of women.  But have I specifically helped coachable and committed women reclaim their energy for all these years,? no.  I’ve been teaching women this stuff for years, but haven’t seen the outcomes because of the unmotivated population I’ve worked with. How do I present myself confidently and accurately?

  • Howard Hong ⏱️ (33:11) –

I have seen programs that offer two options of delivery: one option is the course with coaching and another option of the same course without coaching (so just the course by itself) at a lower cost. What is your opinion of offering these two options for our program?

  • Valerie Lynn Polley ⏱️ (40:05) –

I help people with digestive distress eliminate their symptoms, so they can (break free from the daily digestive constraints)(regain control of their life)(gain back their daily freedoms)(feel liberated by better gut health)(feel empowered to now actively engage in life).

  • Kristen O’Dell ⏱️ (43:06) –
  1. I need to keep up with some regular personal development. Do you have a list of PD for confidence building as well as motivation?
  2. I want to create a logo, brand, including an animated logo for the beginning of each video I create. I have used FIVRR before for this, but I figured I’d ask for any advice on contracting for this. Should I look for a social media branding package? Is there anything that’s a MUST HAVE when purchasing logo/branding from a graphic designer?
  3. It was advised in the critique call this week that I get some sort of tracking system to know where my clients are in the program when to fire off the Weeks 6-8 texting content. I do not want to go back and implement a new tracking system so I’d like to do it the most organized from the beginning. Are there any programs I could look into to keep my clients organized in their process?
  • Jessica Stevenson & Laura Boyer ⏱️ (57:12) –

Now that we finally have a business name, we need to come up with an impactful tagline that clearly and concisely explains the expected outcome of completing our program. We would love to help with this. You were so helpful with our mission.

  • Mindset Minute: ⏱️  (06:25) Auditing Your Beliefs

Pre-Submitted Questions:

  • Kristen O’Dell ⏱️ (25:22) –

I’m struggling with wanting to do an 8-week course (as advised), but finding I’m trying to pack too much into too short a time. I was given feedback that my initial 8-week outline seemed more like 3 courses in 1 and that was correct ( I didn’t even have everything in there). So, should I create 3 separate courses and try to funnel people along from one to the next (prenatal fitness, prenatal prep course, newborn course) or do one larger, longer Mastering Motherhood course and put it all in one?  If I do that, is the price the same?

  • Kristina de Bree ⏱️ (35:46) –

I got stuck again.  I’m not sure why I think it’s a mindset issue.  I was working on the contract and when I submitted for feedback It was suggested to speak to a lawyer to fine-tune.  I don’t know what kind of lawyer to contact and am worried about the cost.  I’m nervous about moving forward without making sure the contract is appropriate and protects me/my business.

  • Lisabeth Mackall ⏱️ (41:15) –

I am confusing myself between FB groups and pages. I have both but cannot remember which to use – I don’t seem to be able to allow people to book appointments on my group, but can on my page? Can you discuss the differences and options, and which we should use?

  • Sarah E.V. Clark ⏱️ (44:52) –

What is the best way to use PAS’s for online/social media content to create interest in your offerings, program, FB group, etc?

  • Mindset Minute: ⏱️ (04:00)

Pre-Submitted Questions:

  • Brittany Lamb ⏱️ (27:00) –
  1. She joined a FB group for dementia with a 30K audience as an expert and moderator. The group is run by a PT entrepreneur, who is going to interview her next week. Joining the group comes at a cost of $47 a month. She’s curious to know how long would you suggest to stick to the group and see if this generates leads, or should she use that money to boost her posts on FB or use that on FB ad?
  2. She did her QCI and had people showing interest, but most people say money is an issue. Aside from asking if money is the only thing keeping them from signing up, what are the good payment plan options she could provide for those who are on the fence only because of money?

Follow-up Questions:

  • Dr. Devin N. Bailey ⏱️ (40:00) –

Do businesses have to register for PayPal credit, or is it automatically offered to clients when we have a business account?

  • Theresa Crawford ⏱️ (41:18) –

I was working on creating a Facebook live and on the worksheet, it says to connect by booking a call with this link.  I did not see how to do that? Am I missing something? How do I get that set up so I can do more lives?

  • Jessica Morlan ⏱️ (42:32) –

Can we pitch the same or similar ideas to different affiliates˛to avoid the dilemma of having to decline one if two affiliates are interested in the same idea

Live Questions:

  • Kristen O’Dell  ⏱️ (44:40) –

Question about generating an app for the program.

  • Mindset Minute: ⏱️ (03:00)

Pre-Submitted Questions:

  • Kristina de Bree⏱️ (11:35) –
  1. After the holidays, I’m feeling stuck and overwhelmed and don’t know how to break down my to-do list into a micro to-do list to know where to get started or what to do next.
  2. Potential client outreach: What to say when people ask about the program without scaring them away?
  3. Also about outreach: What to do when I texted a couple of people who were previously interested in my program and got no response or when people who used to have immense interest in my program now said they cannot afford the program until a later date?
  • Howard Hong ⏱️ (34:20) –

About program support and delivery platform:  what is your opinion about using one of these all-in-one platforms for course creations like Kajabi or Zenler that includes things beyond the modules?

  • Sarah E. v. Clark ⏱️ (38:10) –
  1. What is the best way to begin branding if I want to create a dynamic branding message across all platforms in order to establish a solid foundation for all future growth and success?
  2. What is the best way to cultivate a career that allows for both In-person one-on-one meetings and Online coursework and programs?
  • Jessica Stevenson & Laura Boyer ⏱️ (44:10) –
  1. Laura has an LLC for her educational consulting business and our collaboration will be life coaching vs. educational consulting.  Should we be building our program off of her business or should we make our program and business a separate entity?
  2. Target clientele: Our program is about helping adolescents/young adults develop self-awareness so they can be change agents in their own personal evolution. As our business grows, we hope to expand our services to adults.  Self-awareness can be marketed to anyone.  Should we just market to young adults at this time, or should we market our program to anyone needing support through a life transition?
  3. Length of program: How do we determine the length of our program?  Research shows that it takes 66 days to form a habit (9 weeks).

Live Questions:

  • Becca ⏱️ (45:02) –

Sylvie what if we already have an LLC, and we aren’t collaborating with another person.  Should we still keep the course and pre-existing LLC separate?

  • Mindset Minute: ⏱️ (04:36)

Pre-Submitted Questions:

  • Dr. Devin N. Bailey, NP-BC ⏱️ (19:42) –

Hi! I would like to charge more than 2K. I am leaning towards at least 7.5K or 10K : ). My question is should a program at this price point actually be offered to patients (more involved) instead of coaching? Also, should I make it longer than an 8-week program, due to the price?

  • Julie Stolle ⏱️ (27:25) –

How do you address the clients that don’t want to take your full course but would just like to learn as much as they can in a “quick” face-to-face? Or in a couple of hour meeting?

  • Lauren Smith ⏱️ (32:40) –
  1. I’m stuck and working on getting back on track but having a huge mental block around my topic.
  2. Any advice for fast-tracking and what to focus on in the two months left? I’m in module 4, anything I should skip or double up on?

Live Questions:

  • Jenn ⏱️ (44:50) –

Question: Tips & tricks on doing lives and making content at night. I love using daylight but it’s very limited. Also any tips on scheduling around kids, on top of a full-time job

  • Kristen:⏱️ (49:46 ) –

Can you touch on Facebook or social media… should we be using our personal pages or creating business pages? Because I have a lot of political posts and things with my kids and I’m not super professional on there because it’s real and it’s me and who I am… I’m wondering if I should be utilizing FB differently…. should my page be public, private, etc… I apologize if this is part of a module- but I’m on module 1 and just starting out.

  • Mindset Minute: Comfort Zones ⏱️ (11:00)

Pre-Submitted Questions:

  • Kristina de Bree ⏱️ (19:20) –
  1. With regard to collecting payment. For people who do multiple payments, what is the best way to keep a card on file and make sure you don’t forget to charge it?
  2. What platform do you recommend to show the modules for the beta release
  • Theresa Crawford ⏱️ (30:04) –

Can I do the quick cash injection – using my 8 week course outline / pricing to get started?  Or should I wait and start with cold calling?

  • Melanie Dresden ⏱️ (31:34) –
  1. Feeling stuck… at the point to make a FB group pages (1 for clients and 1 for potential clients) . I do not plan to utilize a FB page for coaching my clients. Can I make 1 FB page and not a group format to fulfill my current and potential clients?
  2. To clarify, sales calls come from my SM and live FB posts? And once I schedule sales calls, what do I tell them as far as a start date? I feel like I have much work left to do, Do I still start to schedule sales calls knowing that it could be more than a month away to start working with clients?
  • Lynn Teresa Schuetz⏱️ (39:44) –

I have decided to scrap my first module and I have a completely new idea that I would like to do with a partner. Would this be acceptable to work on my class as a team? It would be one class with both our expertise?  How would I arrange this if this is acceptable?

  1. What are your thoughts on reaching out to family/friends who fit your audience to go through your program for free just to get through that first beta group?
  2. When I did the first 50 worksheets I didn’t stumble upon any podcasts. Being a mom, I listen to a lot of podcasts that might be a good fit for my target audience. Could I reach out to any podcast with a podcast pitch?
  • Nicole Villegas⏱️ (1:02:45) –

When it comes to the business entity under which the course is offered, do you suggest a general name or a course-subject specific name (e.g. Gardening, LLC vs Raising Amazing Radishes, LLC)?

I’m thinking about how you’ve mentioned course clients & topics shifting over the years, and how there’s also the option for a “”Doing Business As”” name. I would rather not use my personal name.

  • Haylin Dennison⏱️ (15:05) –

Hi! How would you recommend I narrow down the weekly actionable items for my parenting LGBTQIA+ youth program? Is my priority goal to help parents feel better, or is it mainly for the kid?

  • Jessica Morlan ⏱️ (25:28) –

Do you know if there is any difference in reach to doing facebook lives during the day vs at night or weekend versus weekdays?

  • Brittany Lamb ⏱️ (28:19) –
  1. If someone will let me write an article for their website/blog, how do I go about linking to my information? What if they don’t allow that? Would that be more for name recognition? I think I might need to make myself more “googleable”, any tips on that?
  2. Can you speak to the quick cash injection and how you would approach pricing? I’ve been thinking about trying to do this and whether I’d offer any support.
  • Theresa Crawford⏱️ (36:56) –

Ok, so I just submitted my 1st draft call and convert and was looking at module 3 while I wait.  I am wondering if and when I set up something (not sure what) for when I get that first sale – how / where do they pay?

I started reviewing the logistic worksheets and perusing the websites – had an instant feeling of overwhelm. My question is: should I be learning these systems now or later and where can I find help in understanding how to set this all up?

  • Jessica Morlan ⏱️ (45:32) –

I was approached by someone with a similar audience (a birth doula) to do an in-person group event at their studio? Would you recommend sharing about my course or just hosting a separate event and directing them to my website and social media?

  • Brittany Lamb ⏱️ (47:50) –
  1. I have started to post in FB groups where I think my ideal clients are. I offer advice and answer people’s questions. Can I screenshot some of these and ask for feedback on how to improve them to potentially drive people to my FB group?
  2. I was thinking about submitting a few in a document for Phoebe to look at.  I see marketing emails as a category to submit critiques under. Is that ok?
  3. I was also thinking about having her look at the questions I plan to use to try and engage with people when they join my FB group. Can I submit that for critique as well?

  1. Can you speak a little bit on how you came to recommend 2K as a general starting price point? I am having some mindset struggles with this one. I do truly believe that what I have to offer is worth that price, but I still feel this bit of guilt/hesitancy visualizing myself asking for people to pay that. I am wondering if there is an objective way to validate the price.
  2. On that same note, do you have any tips on the belief stacking/table thing you mention in the call and convert module or on how to draw inspiration for the 50 reasons why? I feel like if I can come at this from an objective standpoint and also on a mindset level, I can overcome this mental barrier I have.
  • Brittany Lamb ⏱️ (22:52) –

The call and convert template have some language referring to previous clients and their success. What if this is our first attempt at helping people over time with our topic?

  • Mari Dickerson ⏱️ (27:10) –

I have a couple of questions about the PAS formula:

  1. Why not directly say I’m selling a program when doing PAS/ what are the alternatives?
  2. Text vs written post and how to make it more natural (pictures?)
  • Mari Dickerson ⏱️ (35:27) –
  1. Wondering for my FB biz page if this should be specific to the course or more broadly about my coaching business?
  2. I’m wondering about the start date of the course, as the holidays are approaching and I’m going to be offline for 2-3 weeks at the end of January, there probably won’t be a solid 8 weeks until February. Is it ok to sell with a scheduled pause in between?

  1. I am starting to work on the outline in the 2nd module – what should be written/explained/outline
  2. I am understanding that in weeks one and two we are to give our participants an assignment that will give them a sense of success or small wins, but what is the lesson supposed to entail?
  • Jessica Morlan ⏱️ (42:13) –
  1. What are some tips you have on the technical side of doing a smooth PAS FB live (I.e. lighting, how to keep a good pace, background, etc.)?
  2. When we introduce ourselves for our FB live PAS, would you recommend for or against using mentioning our health profession/certification? Also, what are your thoughts on paraphrasing our mission statement as an intro?

  • Jessica Morlan⏱️ (09:50)
  1. What are your thoughts on including a “readiness for change” question in our initial call for a potential client?
  2. How long after our first PAS FB live should we plan for our 1.0 course to begin?

  • Amy L Paulson ⏱️ (25:10)

I am realizing that I hate my topic.  I’ve been building my stuff out (I have my first 3 clients from the Quick Injection) but I feel like all I’m doing is taking my “live” info and putting it online and It’s what I’ve done for 27 years and I feel like I’m drowning in boredom. As much as I want to make money fast, I feel in my gut that I want to start over with a topic I love (that has nothing to do with hand therapy.) Can you please talk me off the ledge OR give me the blessing to start over

  • Brittany Lamb ⏱️ (35:12)
  1. Regarding support, can I do a Facebook group where I have people join it solely for the support of connecting with others? (concern of crossing into giving medical advice) Would that be valuable?
  2. I would like to offer a Q&A call. As of now, I work weird hours. Until I cut back at work, I am not going to be able to do a call the same time every time. I have my schedule months in advance though so I can plan them out and have them posted. Do you think it’s a big deal if they are not at the same time every week? (Also hard to commit to a set turnaround to answer Qs)

Question: I’m wondering what I need to focus on at this point.  And what’s the time frame on building a list?

  • Jessica Morlan ⏱️ (36:20) –

Question: Do you have any app recommendations for brainstorming and recording ideas on the go? I often get ideas for course content throughout my day and want a good way to keep all my ideas in one place in an organized way

  • Theresa Crawford ⏱️ (39:49) –

Question: I have a personal Facebook page and a business page connected to Facebook. Do I need a business page on Facebook for my group once I’m up and running, as well?

  • Jennifer Boulay ⏱️ (41:58) –

Questions:

  1. Just had my first call & convert phone call. I feel like she was a little blindsided right in the beginning when my first introduction to her was introducing my program that she had never heard about. My written PAS didn’t mention my program and only mentioned about jumping on a call to talk. So it felt very “salesy” to me from the beginning and awkward.  How can I make it a smoother transition from my PAS to the phone call?
  2. What if I only have one person enrolled for my program when it starts?
  3. Should I mention in my calendy “description”, that goes out to them when they book a call, that I will be discussing my program?
  4. The potential client I spoke with asked for a quick follow up email about the program that she could go over with her spouse since he was working. Is that okay to provide, just something short and sweet in email to follow up with?

Jessica: What are some suggestions for what we should be posting in our public FB group? Would you recommend sharing tidbits of our course content in our FB group or even on our FB page?

And from Melissa: I’m very stuck on FB group will submit this week to keep this party rolling but can you clarify what needs to be in there.

    • Theresa Crawford ⏱️ (00:13:00)

I submitted my 8 week outline for critique but did not add any worksheets. Am I going to create my own worksheets or do I use ones already created somewhere?

    • Melissa Barrett ⏱️ (00:16:10)

I got approval on my mission statement when it was in the narrowing down your ideal offer sheet….it said in group I was waiting on approval.  Here it is, I help adults become more mobile and strong so that they can: prevent injuries and enjoy recreational activities pain free without medication.

    • Lauren Smith ⏱️ (00:16:52)

I’m building my 8 week outline, about how long I should be planning for my videos to be? I have SO much to say on each topic, what’s the sweet spot as far as number of concepts per week/module?

    • Lauren Smith ⏱️ (00:23:28)

When deciding on content outline should I focus on the skills/tools I’m teaching and less on the theoretical framework and research behind them or include both? Does my client care as much about the research or just the tools I have to help solve their problem?

    • Lauren Smith ⏱️ (00:26:04)

Trying to decide whether I should create a separate, professional Facebook and Instagram or use my personal. I previously had clients randomly friend request me over the years, hence the extra “m” in my last name, which I know I need to remove now to be accessible. I’m experiencing a little bit of imposter syndrome if I use my personal pages and my peers see what I’m doing and a little bit of hesitation having my personal life available to all my clients. On the other hand, I do have a lot of connections that would be close to my target audience or connected to my target audience… Thoughts?

    • Jennifer Boulay ⏱️ (00:36:55), also answered in (05:34) and (00:26:04)

What should I be posting on my free FB page without giving away my program?

And: Since I have a little audience, should I be focusing on posting on my personal FB profile where I have a small following or build an audience with my business FB profile?

    • Jennifer Boulay ⏱️ (00:43:50)

Should I be setting up and paying for everything to take payments before I do a FB LIVE PAS? I’m worried I will do one and won’t have a way to sign people up but I’m also nervous to jump in and take the big leap! I want to make sure I do it all right: stripe account, thrive cart, TapeACall, etc.

    • Melissa Barrett ⏱️ (00:15:33) –

    • Mari Dickerson ⏱️ (00:23:34) –

I am not sure what to do next after completing the PAS worksheet…I am not totally sure how to turn that into a Facebook post and it seems odd to make a PAS post before having any audience. Should I work on more marketing first?

    • Mari Dickerson ⏱️ (00:26:32) –

    • Jason Folwer ⏱️ (13:26) –

I’m getting mentally prepared to start marketing for sales calls and need help with my process.  Initially, I was going to shy away from a “free call” due to a lot of tire kickers and I have a huge limiting belief around selling my program in 30 min. without having them fill out any initial paperwork and “in my mind” leaving me unprepared to sell my full program.  So, should my initial free call be the opportunity to sell them my $147 initial consultation via zoom or a phone call which is 45 min. or should I just combine it all and practice selling my program at the $6500 price point from the get go from a 30 min. phone call.  Thanks!

I have a couple of examples. I would like to send my clients a small box of related products to help them with their exercises (cost would be about $75 total) so they have the right tools to complete their program. Second example is I have a cold laser that is approved for public use that they could buy on Amazon for $550, but I’m fairly sure I can buy for about $300 and would greatly enhance their outcome. Does this complicate my program or add to it?

Is it ok to assume a baseline of knowledge from your applicants, or should you accept anyone even if they have some work to do first to get to a point where you can help them?

Context: I am attracting photographers who need help developing a profitable, sustainable business model, however it does require a certain baseline though of photography. I would need to see their work and believe it was at a level where if they followed my course, they would achieve the promised results. I fear that someone might want to do the course and not get the results because their portfolio is not at a level it needs to be.

          • Mari Dickerson ⏱️ (00:19:00)

how many lessons can we include in each week of the program? I’d like to include lessons on a couple of different but related topics in the same week, but in getting feedback on my outline, not sure if that was recommended? Put another way, how much content should we be aiming to include each week? Thanks!

          • Mari Dickerson ⏱️ (00:23:53)

In feedback I have been getting, I feel like I am moving farther away from educating women on cycle syncing and how this relates/improves mental health outcomes. In reworking outline for the course, I am trying to focus on reducing anxiety/results but am having trouble staying simple and results focused (rather than education focused) while also incorporating info and practices around menstrual cycle and body awareness/literacy. Hope this makes sense!
